- 45 years ago this week, on 30 January 1981, the EP ‘Four From Toyah’ came into the world. As the name made clear, it contained four songs from the band Toyah produced by Nick Tauber. This was the band’s first UK top 40 single entry and would rise to no.4 in March 1981 resulting in 2 different Top of The Pops appearances in that month.
- To mark the EP’s 45 anniversary, Four From Toyah is now available on digital/streaming platforms with its original artwork. https://cherryred.co/FourFrom2021
- The expanded 8-track EP (released in 2021) is now also available digitally and contains the EPs four songs in their earlier incarnations recorded by #Toyah in sessions at Parkgate Studios and Eel Pie Studios. https://cherryred.co/FourFromFortieth
